Schools are injecting mental health interventions into the school day, even though research shows universally applied, “preventative” mental health practices cause harm.
Though this topic is complex, simply put, New Discourses James Lindsay said it well, these programs of mental health, social emotional learning, CASEL are so the kids can “take their brainwashing well.”
These programs also serve to separate child from family unit, where things that were (and should be) dealt with in family home (long term view) - the parent is excluded as the child is seen as his/her 'own unit'.
Thank you for that. I just did a podcast and post on UNCRC. In it I link to an academic study looking at how to embed a rights framework for preverbal children (!) The framework very clearly sets the toddlers as individual units separating them from familial and friendship groups. It sets any response (crying, laughing, frustration) as a reflection of the toddler ‘being denied their rights’. Truly dystopian. Also makes me wonder (as I looked at their analysis) this is the social credit system being set up from nursery. As children/toddlers are graded on how well they uphold others rights. And also the nursery workers are graded on how well they uphold toddlers rights. One nursery worker was dismissed when she pointed out that ‘nurturing and caring was enough’. ‘No’ she was told ‘it is not’.
The "mental health" initiatives I've looked into are clearly meant to indoctrinate children into leftism (focus on all progressive topics, presented as positive), obedience (do not question others, accept even when you don't understand), trust in authority (experts know best) and breaking ties with family (your parents are bigots if they don't say yes to everything).
There's also an enormous money making opportunity in it, the goal is to eventually turn school into an all-in-one center for youth where they can get education, mental health counseling, vaccines, health counseling, sex change treatments, condoms, abortion pills, etc., all away from those bigoted parents who might say no.

EXACTLY. Thank you for pointing that out.
